I love pages that highlight your name. I do this all the time on my splash pages, and it makes a HUGE difference. The human eye will immediately latch-on to that and will instinctively read around it a bit - just to see what context their own name is being used in. This is human instinct in everyone, and when properly done, generates incredible results! It doesn't matter what the content on the page is, having that one element automatically makes the page 10x more effective.
